Recertification requirements for certified professionals

Feb 23 / Support Team
To maintain the CRTS (Certified Running Technique Specialist) credential, the certified professional is required to complete the recertification process prior to the expiration of the five (5) year recertification interval or within thirty (30) days following its official expiration date. In light of the COVID-related pause and the recent updates to the credentialing portal and onboarding process, the recertification period has been extended until June 13, 2025.

The start date of each certification cycle is located on your certificate issued upon successful completion of the initial Certification Exam or the following Recertification Exam(s). The Academy retains the records necessary to verify compliance with the recertification program. If you need to find your certification expiration date, please contact us or create a new account on this portal, and we will be happy to assist you further.
